Please help my students express themselves through art! I teach art at an elementary school in southern Nevada. Because of the state budget crisis, there is a lack of funding throughout the school district, and funding will be even less next year. As most people know, the arts are usually some of the first areas to be cut,so we really are in a crisis. Whether there are budget issues or not, my students deserve the best art education they can get, as art involves practical application of all the other school subjects and allows time for personal expression. Please help my students develop their creative and practical capabilities by supporting my projects!
