Being able to use an Activslate for lesson presentation will enhance my teaching in several ways. First, it makes the transfer of information more accessible to students. Second, it will allow me to engage students with a wide range of learning styles. Third, it allows me to be more mobile in the classroom as I can move about without interruption to the lesson. It also allows students to participate in the lesson by giving them the opportunity to work through examples from their desk without the stress of standing in front of the classroom. Finally, the Activeslate software is available through our school district computers, so is operates on a platform that I am already familiar with.
