Escape rooms have become very popular among adults and what better way to challenge students then to bring that concept to the classroom?! By creating two escape boxes I will be able to group my students to work on different skills such as communication, teamwork, and of course problem solving. As a group they will try and solve the problem in order to get into the box and retrieve their prize. Will you escape? Students will need to solve a variety of problems in order to get to their next lock. The last lock will lead to their prize. There are many exciting lesson plans to go along with the content the students are already learning. My students love hands on activities. Who doesn't like a hands on challenge with multi-step problem solving?!
