My class is an all boys kindergarten class in the heart of North Minneapolis. The boys in the class are a high energy bunch, who love to move, create, and discover the world around them. They have been thriving in a school that caters to the unique needs of the children on the north side. They are expected to defy the standards that society has set for them, and excel in their studies. Along with that, the school empowers the African American scholars they serve, and celebrates the rich history and culture they all share.
