Our fifth graders are eager learners who love to use creativity and technology for learning activities. Many of the students act as peer mentors, helping their classmates who are struggling with new concepts. They enjoy being on the safety squad, helping to keep the school safe. Our school is in a working-class neighborhood and the local families enjoy being involved in the school activities. They have a lot of pride in the school and its staff. We offer free enrollment to "school of choice" students. These students often come from low-income areas with poor schools. When they enroll at our school, they sometimes lack important skills. The staff at our school works to make sure all students reach their potential.
