Comfortable seating is crucial for young students to become engaged when reading a book. The soft cushions will help make independent reading time a more enjoyable experience for them! The computer software helps reinforce and engage students using music, graphic art and a game format for building reading and math skills. The software will assist with differentiated instruction by having above level activities in math and emergent reading and writing activities for struggling readers. Kindergarten is the grade where students are learning to form their letters for writing. Students who lack focus can be easily frustrated when forming the letters. The software I am requesting makes it possible for students to practice writing letters on the computer which has shown to be a less frustrating experience for them. The hands-on materials like the magnetic geometric blocks will help them with their creativity and fine motor skills. The colorful products for classroom organization will brighten the classroom making it more inviting for the kindergartners to get excited about being at school and learning. They are at an important age to develop their creative side and all of these materials will help encourage that with the bright colors and quality craftsmanship.
