In years past, a laptop has served a purpose of preparing and displaying powerpoints and I did most of the work within the classroom. But with recent developments, our world has changed. Education has changed. Learning has changed! I have grown and adapted for the better and my students are still learning despite the vast difficulties. Students have benefitted by receiving laptops and iPads in NYC, however, I am still in the "stone-age" with my device. While students are receiving updated technology, teachers like myself must rely on 20th century devices and it has taken too much time out of our already limited "classroom" sessions. I need to be in the 21st century with my students, and this would be a step in the right direction. I want to open up the multitude of avenues that would help my students prosper even more, but I need your help, and my students do too. This laptop / tablet combination will also help students that are visual learners. I can also write directly on the screen where I can virtually emulate a smart board. Thank you for taking the time to read. My students and I wish you all the best!
