I would like to supply the students with journals. When children have a chance at self expression, many underlying problems can be faced and dealt with before they become full blown problems within the classroom/household.. It is important that, even if there isn't someone there in person, the journal will always be there, non-judgmental, and willing to listen. When children learn self expression at a young age, it makes it easier to deal with the trials and tribulations they will experience later in life by finding other ways to cope with the problems they encounter on a day to day basis.

About my class
