The music program at our school empowers students to be self expressive and creative. Thanks to teachers, parents, students and staff dedicated to arts integration and to donors who believe in the trans-formative power of music, our school is able to provide quality play-based general music and strings education to New Orleans students. Learning the violin not only teaches students a musical skill that can never be taken away from them, it teaches them life skills that can be applied to all facets of their life. Skills include cooperation, teamwork, focus, perseverance, and organization.

About my class
