Students in my US History classes will each receive a binder and dividers for the study materials and practice materials for each of the eight state course standards. This will help them as they prepare for the End-of-Course standardized test at the end of the year that is required for earning a high school diploma. I was able to do a small aspect of this project my first year teaching and received great success. My school's expected pass-rate goal is 20% passing for End-of-Course tests with less expectancy for US History. However, after doing a smaller version of this project my students' earned nearly a 45% passing rate!
