My students are loving and enjoy school. They are fun, smart, and inquisitive. They are discovering connections in the world around them, and they teach me so much! My Montessori classroom is multi-aged, serving students ages 6-9 together, and meeting their individual interests and needs. Students in this age band are learning how the world works and figuring out their place in society. They are encouraged to think outside of the box, and to develop their individuality. We work hard to teach the whole child, and to use education as an instrument for peace. Students with varying abilities and backgrounds learn to work together and appreciate one another, as they gain appreciation and respect for all living things. Children in this age band are incredible; they have limitless potential. Hands-on experiences help them to understand abstract concepts deeply. These children will change the world for the better!
