Classroom Technology We need 4 Chromebooks to begin our goal of providing enough computers for each student to be able to reach their academic goals in reading and writing. With these four chrome books our learning through technology will soon become a norm in our classroom. About My Students At TMS, we have a very dedicated group of students with parents who support them greatly. They are excited to learn and are well behaved. Because they are engaged and interactive learners, they enjoy working on projects. Our class does a variety of projects that sometimes involved the collaboration of their peers while others require individual thought and execution. My students expect to have opportunities to learn about technology and will increase their learning through the understanding and use of said technology. Thompson has always been a school that has prided itself on being technologically advanced. With the addition of four Chromebooks, my students will be able to work together on projects, as well as work individually on their lessons. This enables me, as a teacher, to help them with their writing while in class and provide immediate feedback. Eventually I hope to have enough Chromebooks for everyone, but we will take baby steps in reaching this goal. I will also be able to help those students who do not have access to technology at home. This will give them the confidence to reach there goal and succeed with the rest of their classmates.
