I have a class of about 35 fifth grade students. My students are energetic and have a passion for learning. My students are learning to read and write more detailed texts and broaden their learning repertoire with the fairly new Common Core State Standards of California. They attend a culturally and economically diverse K-5 school in California. Our school in non-Title 1 and therefore receives no extra funding for items such as a new classroom computer. Ours is a California Distinguished School and have a ground breaking Science Habitat with our own solar power panel . We continue to strive toward increased achievement in all subject matter areas.

About my class
