My kiddos are wonderful and loving learners who are ready to soak up new information each day they walk into the classroom. They are eager to not only learn academics but also how to interact with one another and apply their new social and emotional awareness skills to their everyday life. We are a Title I school so our students come from low-income families who don't always have the opportunity to continue enrichment at home or give more responsibility to their child so being at in our class gives them the chance to be a kid and learn how to interact with others their age. School is sometimes an escape for some children and we work to make sure they feel safe in their learning environment and understand they also contribute to that atmosphere. At our school, we try to supply students with ways for all types of learners to be able to be successful in the classroom regardless of background. We do our best to try and supply the classrooms with what we need but can't always afford to.
