I am a second and third grade looping teacher. My classroom currently consists of 50 third graders. Our school is in a low socioeconomic area, and our enrollment in K-3 is approximately 1,500 students. With large class sizes and no assistant, teaching becomes more of a challenge. I have students on a wide-range of levels as well as different learning styles. Students work in small groups, with partners, independently, and participate in whole group activities.
