This year, I will be working with 12 ESL students as their reading teacher for 90 minutes each day. Part of this project is for basic materials such as an electric pencil sharpener and a pocket chart so I can prepare instructional materials for my students. But most importantly, this project is meant to equip my room with items that will enable students to be attentive and independent learners. Fidget toys will keep hands busy while minds work hard. Shower curtain word walls will help organize and display lots of vocabulary for reference. Headphone splitters will allow students to collaborate with iPads.
