My students are all Asian and Hispanic kids from the inner city. They are energetic and anxious to learn. Whenever they are able to work on a project together they amaze me with the ideas they come up with and the final product that they are able to produce. Our school is a Kindergarten through 6th grade school in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Many different languages are spoken in our school and 95% of the students qualify for free lunch. Unfortunately, most of our students were affected by Hurricane Sandy and at least half of them became homeless. Luckily all are safely back in their homes and school has just recently returned to normalcy.

About my class
