My classroom is an autism classroom. My students benefit from a wide array of curriculum. They thrive from the use of technology, enjoy books where they can relate, and enjoy accessing different subject areas like social studies and science. My students all have different sensory input needs with social deficits that impact their socialization with their peers. We use a wide variety of technology in our classroom to support their unique learning styles. I have some students who get the opportunity to interact with typical peers and access general education curriculum. I also have students who benefit from being in my classroom all day to support their needs.
