My students will use flexible seating to relax and enjoy reading the books purchased. The books will enhance students' reading engagement and choice. Students will enhance vocabulary, build stamina, and share their enjoyment of reading with their peers. The students' choice of seating will add to student engagement. Seating choice during independent work times will enhance student learning and engagement. My students will begin to see reading as a fun activity because they have options about what and where they choose to read. This enjoyment of reading will result in elevated test scores but more importantly students enjoyment of reading.
