My students are energetic and growing students, who devour anything about technology. The students are a mix of very high and very low skilled students, and my class provides an opportunity for every student to experience academic success because everyone is learning new skills and using new technology, so it is a level playing field. There is an energetic buzz as students discuss projects, complete assignments and help each other, thus I've named my classroom The Making & Coding Hive. Our school features a staff who put students' needs first, and parents who work hard to support their children, the student body, and the teachers and staff. It is a very familial environment, which also helps students thrive because there is always an adult around holding them accountable and responsible for their actions, but also to praise their efforts and improvements.
