These materials will help with their adaptive growth and skills, motor growth and stimulation, classroom learning comfort, sensory, and learning through real world manipulatives and music. Having these supplies for my students will make learning interesting and exciting. For example, my students struggle with having full control of their bodies and having the boppy pillows and bean bags will give them that comfort and support that their body requires outside of their wheel chairs. Academically, the large economy writing slant board would benefit them with their visual disability as they use the real world academic resources. These resources allows them to learn through play with the LeapFrog Shapes And Sharing Picnic Basket, the Learning Resources Smart Snacks Count 'em Up Popcorn, Learning Resources One To Ten Counting Cans, and for my musically stimulated learners they would really retain more using the VTech KidiBeats Kids Drum Set and Learning Basic Skills Through Music. All my students are non-verbal and learning through music is therapy and is something they look forward to experiencing; that's why it's at the top of their happy day list.
