I teach 3rd grade at a Title 1 (high poverty) school. These children are eager little learners and I really want to give them the same experience privileged children receive. Learning materials at a school should be a given, but it just isn't always the case. I try and make the space as bright and cheerful as possible, but funding really restricts some basic necessities. Our "library" is almost non-existent and mostly made up of books that have been donated. I would love to be able to purchase a nice assortment of books for my students to enjoy. Many of the students do not own books of their own and rely on what is available at school. Please help support this dream! Thanks a bunch!!!!
