The hope for our classroom home this year is to make it into a learning lab. This year I am in a portable and the space is a bit more limited. My vision is to get rid of some desks and create different seating areas around the room. My students could benefit from a carpet to sit on for collaboration, exploration, and learning. This carpet would be our main sitting area in the room where we can gather as a classroom family daily to do different activities. Having this area where we can all sit would help during whole group time!
