My school and classroom are extremely diverse in many ways. Culture, socio-economics, and language. 100% of our Title One school receive free lunches. My district has been embedded in the area for so many years, people often refer to the area as 'Ritenour' instead of the actual township. Many of my parents attended Iveland as well. My students are eager learners. They love to read and have books read to them. They love to do hands-on math and science. My students' favorite thing at school is our learning centers, which we do during reading and math time. They also enjoy pairing up with partners or in groups to discuss and show their learning and thinkings.
