My school is a special haven for children experiencing learning difficulties. Every class has children of varying abilities, and special education students are part of each and every opportunity in school. Technology is encouraged for student success today and in their future. The urban setting of my school encompasses many socio-economic levels; some families need help providing the basic necessities. Many children have limited access to advancing technology. Technical literacy is a skill my students need to develop. Reading, writing and math are all integrated into using an iPad. Plus, for special needs students, it is very reinforcing. The are having fun while learning.
