My classroom population is a gumbo pot of students from varying interests, backgrounds, and achievement levels. Many of my students are from low income families and do not have easy access to books. Class sets of The Magic Trap and The Bell Bandit will give my students time to enjoy and connect to the reading experiences and offer them chances to explore new worlds, learn new things, and connect to new ideas. When I look around my classroom, I see the future - the leaders of tomorrow. Through literature, they can discover the ideas that may shape and guide them into who they want to be.
