Using the Apple iPad, the students will take a picture of their finished artwork and upload it to their online digital portfolio, which relatives can then see and buy on cups, shirts, purses, etc. Those purchases help fund our classroom supplies. Also, using the iPad will help with our digital learning, specifically learning photography, and provide access to researching art related items such as artists, genres, and media to name a few. It will be indispensable for use in our Yearbook Club as well. Right now, only 50% of projects get uploaded because of the lack of devices to use. Obviously, more of our students would love to have their work uploaded to share with their family not to mention more artwork can result in more sales to help fund the art room. We hope you can participate in our effort to have everyone's artwork available on line for their parents and relatives to enjoy, no matter where they may live.
