I am a kindergarten teacher in Alabama. Due to our current economic crisis, our classroom funding has drastically been cut by the state. I am not able to purchase anything other than basic supplies and materials for my classroom. Thankfully I have great parental support which helps keep my out of pocket expenses down for things like paper towels and other similar materials. Trying to keep up to date with technology is impossible with the classroom funding the state allots each classroom. Grants are our only hope of giving our students access to current technology.
