My school is located in the inner city of Kansas City. It is underfunded and we are without resources. Teachers are working hard to give their students the same opportunities as students in suburban schools; however, the lack of funding makes it difficult. The students at my school are passionate and have dreams and aspirations but are lacking opportunity. My goal is to provide them with a text that captures their hearts and imaginations and that helps them to love reading.
