The students will have available resources that will help guide them in the creation and building of a functional robot that can complete a set of tasks. This will give them a foundation in basic programming and engineering application. During this process my students will gain knowledge and understanding of the engineering process by keeping their own engineering journal as they bring their robot to life. In the creation of their Lego Robot my students will gain leadership skills, a value of teamwork, problem solving skills, and real world application. They will document their progress through their journey by creating a visual representation of their learning process from brainstorming sessions to robot completion.
