Please, please, please, help! My students have found a love for reading. I would like to give them the Time Magazines, nonfiction text, for them to keep up with current events and a variety in their reading. We recently started research on various nonfiction topics and they are so excited to learn about different science and social studies topics. They would be so excited to get regular magazines which we could use in class. The book "The Day the Crayons Quit" would be read as a class to teach about multiple perspectives. Being 2nd graders, they still love picture books and I have read this book to them in class. They would love their very own copy of it to take home and keep.
