Our school environment allows students to determine what works best for them in our active learning environment; whether that be laying on the floor, standing, or sitting on a ball. All children learn best in different ways and in different environments; our goal is help all students be successful in our active classrooms. Flexible seating will allow my students to choose the best seating option for them to maximize engagement in activities and learning. I picture the quality and ownership of group projects, partner work, center activities, and even independent work to increase if students in an active learning environment.
