My students fall in the category of "highest poverty" according to state guidelines. They are eager for rich learning experiences that most cannot obtain at home. My job is to provide them with every opportunity that I can. Even on my worst day I feel like I am a child's best hope to make it out of the generational stigma of children of poverty. By providing exposure to today's media tools of this digital revolution it will give them an opportunity to become a part of today's learning community and stay on track academically. IPADS with their various apps give the students multiple ways to support our local, state and/or national standards. The IPADS we are requesting will allow for individual use and/or small group instruction or intervention on various levels.
