I like to teach my students in small group guided instruction and we are needing a kidney table to make this easier. Students tend to grasp concepts better in a small group setting verses whole group. Small group instruction allows me to easily assess their knowledge of the concept I am teaching. Small group instruction also encourages collaboration between the students and teacher. Having this kidney table will allow me to meet with a small group of students and easily see their thought process for reading concepts and math problems. It will also allow the students to easily collaborate and share their thoughts and ideas with one another.
