I teach in a very low economic area. Teachers at our school often assist our students with getting new and used uniforms so they can fit into the school as a whole; I spend a great deal of my salary trying to provide pencils and paper for my students. After spending money on such necessities as uniforms, pencils, and paper, very little is left over to purchase items which would help motivate my students.
