We learn about Newton's Laws in our classroom. As an end of unit project the students design, build and race cars made from pasta and glue. The students are graded on the distance the car travels and all 8th grade students are involved in the "Viking 500" race. I am looking to have 5 Ipads for the classroom so that we can use design apps and the cameras to both design and document the race cars. Our school has 30 Ipads that are shared with both the 7th and 8th grade levels and all subject teachers. With the 5 Ipads each group will have access to the technology in their classroom. The cost for this project is approximately $2900.00 which would include a protective case.
