My students are some of the most caring, loving individuals who are just looking for some type of stability. We are a Title 1 school, so about 95% of our students get free/reduced breakfast and lunch. Although underprivileged, their behaviors and attitudes would tell another story! They love coming to school and have a hunger for learning. I do my best to allow them to learn in all types of ways within the classroom, however, it is never enough. They are always fighting to stay afloat because there is no help or reinforcement at home for schoolwork. I have the best students around and I am trying to make it a better environment for each student, because, let's be honest, it is an environment that takes their mind off of 'home' and let's them be free to think.
