Our students are mostly of Hispanic culture, live in poverty and in a high crime rate area. We are a Title One school. Most of them walk to school and have to help take care of younger siblings, which prevents a lot of them from participating in sports. Our students have many struggles but they are the best part of my day. They are priceless and appreciate our hard work to make their lives better.

About my class
