I am in my 2nd year of teaching math to 3rd graders. There are 4, 3rd grade classrooms at my school with approximately 20 students in each class. I have implemented Daily 3 in my classroom. Daily 3 consists of Math by Myself, Math with Someone, and Math with Technology. I also have a math in writing station set up for each group to meet with me on a daily basis. I have developed my station based on the needs of my students. I use pre-assessment data from each math chapter to develop my groups. The students love station time and I do too!
