My students are vibrant. They love reading about the real world and stories that have purpose in their lives. They enjoy discussing current issues. My school challenges classes to be student-centered and include high student investment. Since my students are in special education they have goals that push them to read fluently and comprehend material. By the end of the year my hope is that they will find more confidence and enjoyment in reading.
