My students are on an Individualized Education Plan. So my teaching style in my classroom is based around each student's goal and progress. I create fun stations for my classroom to target each child and really work hard to make sure not only that they are learning, but also having fun. We will create dance moves for kinesthic learning, songs, visuals, anything that keeps my students engaged and active! Technology helps students with disabilities get and stay engaged and it is the one resource that we are missing to help make our lessons come full circle. They stay more focused on tasks and create such a fun and positive activity. Whether we are learning how to trace shapes, practicing our skip counting or etc, technology gives us such a great resource to branch out with.
