Having iPads in our classroom will not only allow students to do research, social story situations and work on reading and math apps, but will also allow some independent work while the teacher is with others. This independence helps students' confidence soar. As their confidence grows so will their academic progress. They will try even harder to reach higher goals more quickly. Essentially, these iPads will give us time. Time for the teacher to work individually with students. Time for students to gain knowledge so they may return to the general education classroom one day. iPads are so versatile in the classroom, the possibilities are endless.

About my class
