These materials will allow us to create an organized classroom library that is easy for students to navigate independently. I want students to be able to use the books within our classroom to challenge themselves & grow as readers throughout the year. Students being organized and responsible for the classroom library will help them grow! There will be an easy, color-coded system for them to use when picking out books. The books bins will not only keep the library organized, but they will allow students to keep books organized at their desks. I absolutely love my students and cannot wait to meet my new group of 2nd graders. I am looking forward to a great school year!
