Students will love the creativity of learning outside! It will give them space to learn in the fresh air and take off their masks for a few minutes at a time and still stay within health guidelines without losing any learning time. It will give me the chance to work with small groups of students while still maintaining social distancing. Small group instruction and equipment will be vital to closing the achievement gap when students return in Fall. This learning equipment will maximize learning during the ever-changing parameters of the pandemic. It will also be useful in class to space out student learning stations when students are allowed to work together in small groups. Please help me create a positive learning environment for my resilient second-grade students!
