My classroom has a total of 24 First Grade students. I am currently in our Primary building that holds just Preschool-1st Grade and it is a very old building. Our district built a brand new school a few years back, but we have since outgrown the building and Preschool-First Grade was moved back into the old Elementary building. I honestly love our building and wouldn't change it for the world! Us Preschool-First Grade teachers feel as if we live in our own little bubble in our building because there are so few of us, but we love it! I feel as if our students love our "little bubble" as well because it is a comforting place to be and not too overwhelming at their age. Also, since our building is older, we do not have the technology that we wish we had.
