My students need a class subscription to Scholastic News and Science Spin magazines to enhance student learning. My students will be excited to be receiving the Scholastic News and Science Spin magazines throughout the school year. This classroom resource will help my students to have a love for reading and learning about a variety of topics. This project will help my classroom because students need more grade level materials to enhance their literary skills during science and social studies. Having these magazines in my classroom will give ALL students the opportunity to read, comprehend, and research interesting topics that will make the successful learners in the second grade! After using the magazines in the classroom, students will be able to take them home and share them with their families. Having this opportunity to enjoy them in the classroom will also help families at home with a resource to help support all subject areas.
