My students are AMAZING! I know, all teachers say this...but many of my students come to school with limited family support and issues that have compounded over the years. They struggle with reading, math, sequencing, self esteem and yet every day they come to school and prevail. They work hard to accept the challenges I throw at them. Its hard to be different, but I teach my students that you can take these challenges and you learn to work with what you have with pride. Some people learn in completely different ways then others learn. It is not bad, just different. Our world would be so boring if we were all the same.
