The students that come to me receive reading interventions in a small group to assist them in gaining their reading skills. Students who have a reading/learning disability can also have a hard time sitting still and focusing. I would like to offer an alternative seating arrangement for my students who need to wiggle in order to be able to stay focused on instruction. If this project is funded, I will be able to purchase 6 wobble stools to be used by all my students in all my groups. The wobble stools allow for controlled movement (fidgeting) while allowing students to focus in on instruction.
