As my students prepare to wrap up their year, they need basic supplies to complete projects and prepare for testing. We desperately need basic supplies such as paper, pencils, sticky notes and whiteboard markers, to help our classroom run smoothly. My students have developed a huge love for writing this year and paper and pencils will help them continue to foster this love. In my classroom, students are encouraged to use lined paper to express their thoughts and edit their work as they go. My students also love using whiteboard markers to solve out their math work on their desks or on personal whiteboards. This is a big motivator for them to express their mathematical thinking.
