In my twelve years of teaching there have been a multitude of changes in staffing, curriculum and even classrooms; however, one thing has stayed the same, my love for teaching and sharing the gift of reading with my students. This gift was shared with me by my grandmother, and I am thankful every day that she took me on many adventures and journeys through literature. Third grade is a transition year for many children from learning-to-read to reading-to-learn and I'm honored to have the responsibility of helping each child find their favorite authors, genres, and books to make that happen. Thank you so much for considering donating to this wonderful project of helping me create a special reading area in our classroom.
